Brief about Amritsar
Amritsar (also called Ambarsar) is a city in the north-western Indian state of Punjab. it’s founded in 1577 by Sikh guru Ram Das, is the site of Harmandir Sahib, the holiest gurdwara (Sikh temple). The city also houses the Akal Takht, the highest seat of earthly authority of the Khalsa, and the committee responsible for the upkeep of Gurdwaras.
